I decided to add to the challenge of painting peonies by using my palette knife. In art school I hated using the palette knife, but in recent years have come to terms with it. There is a hint of pattern in the background of this painting- perhaps a nod to Japanese and Chinese art.

This painting is on unstretched canvas, so it is easy to send to you. I use artist grade materials in all of my paintings.
